Purpose
12K CYCLE asks whether humanity’s oldest stories preserve memories of recurring planetary disruption. The site is designed as a research archive, not a certainty machine.
Approach
It brings scientific records, historical sources, religious texts, and alternative hypotheses into one navigable framework while refusing to give every claim equal evidentiary weight.
Standards
- Present mainstream explanations fairly.
- Label author interpretation and speculation.
- Never invent sources or quotations.
- Correct errors visibly.
- Avoid panic and deterministic predictions.
Limits and open work
The project crosses many specialties. It therefore depends on transparent sourcing and outside criticism rather than claims of universal expertise.
What could change this page?
The project’s thesis may evolve as evidence is added, challenged, or removed.
