Purpose
A hypothesis earns attention by surviving serious attempts to disprove it. This page does not treat criticism as hostility; it treats criticism as part of the research.
Approach
Objections are grouped by chronology, statistics, mechanism, climate attribution, geomagnetism, impact evidence, archaeology, textual interpretation, and sociology of knowledge.
Standards
- No argument from ridicule or authority alone.
- No claim that lack of acceptance proves suppression.
- No moving the proposed dates after contrary evidence appears.
- No combining weak claims to simulate one strong claim.
Limits and open work
The current site contains research scaffolds rather than a completed literature review. Expert critiques and cited rebuttals still need to be incorporated.
What could change this page?
A well-supported objection may narrow, revise, or eliminate a proposed link. Corrections remain visible in the revision record.
Next steps
Build an objection-to-claim matrix showing the evidence each side relies on and which observations would resolve the dispute.
