Sources and Corrections

Every citation should be traceable. Every material correction should remain visible.

Source policy

Original papers, datasets, mission documents, government records, historical texts, and archival scans are preferred over summaries. Secondary sources may provide context but should not substitute for the underlying record.

[CLAIM REQUIRES VERIFICATION]A source may exist, but its accuracy, context, or relevance has not been checked.

Corrections

Send the exact page, sentence, proposed correction, and supporting source. Substantive changes will include a dated note describing what changed and why.

The current launch version is a research framework. Many topic pages intentionally retain source-required notices.
